AOD yarning place

The Alcohol and other drugs (AOD) yarning place is a free online network that enables people across the country working in the area of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander substance use to share information, knowledge and experience - even when they live in different states, territories and regions, come from different sectors (such as health, education and justice), and work for different organisations.

By combining quality, up-to-date web-based information and resources from the Australian Indigenous Alcohol and Other Drugs Knowledge Centre (Knowledge Centre) with the AOD yarning place, we aim to create a great resource for people working or studying in the area of alcohol and other drugs and related Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health issues.

When you join the AOD yarning place, you will have access to electronic services that assist members to stay connected, including:

To join the Knowledge Centre AOD yarning place (or any of the other HealthInfoNet yarning places) visit the Yarning Place website at http://www.yarning.org.au/ and click on ‘join’.

Once you have registered as a member, a confirmation message will be sent to your e-mail address. You can then choose to join the AOD yarning place.

You will need to log in by entering your email address and password.  Select the AOD yarning place, click the 'Join yarning place' link on the left, and a pop-up will appear asking for confirmation.
